London Gallery Weekend

4 - 6 June

Pangolin London is delighted to announce the gallery’s participation in the inaugural edition of London Gallery Weekend, held over the weekend of 4-6 June 2021.

Showing 4 different free exhibitions over three floors at Kings Place, Pangolin London is one of the few participating galleries dedicated to solely exhibiting sculpture in all its forms!

Pangolin London’s main exhibition space sees the return of works by Terence Coventry in his beautiful new exhibition Vital Image paired with the exhibition Sculptors’ Works on Paper on B-1 and B-2 of Kings Place. There is of course more to see with a selection of ceramics by Almuth Tebbenhoff in the gallery’s sculpture windows and Pangolin London’s famous sculpture trail.

Over 80 of London’s leading contemporary art galleries are coming together this summer to launch a new, free to attend, annual event, celebrating culture and creativity in the UK’s capital city.

LGW will promote a daily focus hosted by a geographical area, starting with central London on Friday, followed by south London on Saturday and culminating on Sunday with galleries in the East End and Kings Cross where Pangolin London Sculpture Gallery is based.

A grassroots initiative developed to harness the energy of the London gallery scene, LGW emerged as an idea over lockdown in London, during which time new connections were forged online between art dealers and gallerists united by common challenges presented by the pandemic.

To celebrate over the three-day London gallery extravaganza, Pangolin London will host a series of late night openings, tours, talks and competitions to win some incredible gallery goodies. Stay tuned  - further information to follow!

Sign up to the LGW mailing list to hear about participating galleries and the dynamic three-day events programme, including late night openings, studio visits, children’s events, and more.
