The British Silver Week Festival of Silver launches at Pangolin London once again with five days of themed exhibitions featuring more than 100 of Britain’s finest contemporary silversmiths.
Saturday 12th - Friday 18th May 2012 10.30am - 7.30pm Thursday 17th May includes a specialist 'Enamellers & Engravers' exhibition Friday 18th May - 'Rising Stars' Day'.
Located in a purpose-built gallery near the main entrance to Kings Place, Pangolin London is affiliated with Europe's leading sculpture foundry, Pangolin Editions.
Pangolin London is one of the city’s few galleries dedicated to exhibiting sculpture and since opening in 2008, continues to deliver a rotating exhibition programme of the highest quality. In addition to the exhibitions in the gallery, Pangolin London also curates a changing exhibition of large scale sculpture throughout the public spaces and canal-side at Kings Place as well as holding a series of talks and lectures to coincide with exhibitions.
The exhibition programme includes work by a range of established and emerging sculptors including Lynn Chadwick, William Tucker, Ralph Brown, Jon Buck, Terence Coventry, Abigail Fallis, Peter Randall-Page and Ann Christopher, as well as organising mixed exhibitions featuring a number of well known contemporary names.
We are delighted to announce that our next Pangolin London Sculptor in Residence is Briony Marshall. Briony will be spending the next year based in the studio here at Kings Place and will focus on developing a new body of work.
Should you have any enquiries regarding buying, selling, commissioning or hiring sculpture we would be delighted to hear from you.
