Breon O’Casey made his initial reputation as a jeweller before he fully concentrated on painting, printmaking, and sculpture. He began making jewellery under the tutelage of Naum Slutsky at Dartington Hall School, Devon before becoming a key player in the St Ives School where he set up a jewellery studio.
Breon O’Casey’s jewellery is always unique as he manipulated the precious metals by hand.
This hand-crafted gold cross is simple, modest, resourceful and beautiful – cleverly drawing your eye to the rich royal blue of the lapis stone at the centre of the pendant.
