Lynn Chadwick regularly returned to the theme of the generic 'Beast' throughout his career. Each had a different attititude either aggressive, protective or docile. This wonderful version is indicative of Chadwick's lesser known works of the 60's where he played with a reduction of form to simple geometric shapes but retained that essential Chadwick attitude.
