First Edition: Proofs printed in black by Jacques Frélaut at Atelier Lacourière, Paris, in September 1956, Inscribed 'First State/ Aug 1956'.
Second Edition: Colour version proofed in 1957, using second plate prepared by Clarke and his father, John Moulding Clarke.
Edition of 50 commissioned by Robert Erskine (St George's Gallery) and printed in colour in 1958 at the RCA y Richard Frozard, Tom Frasier and possibly John Brunsdon. Dated '1957/8'.
