Zachary Eastwood-Bloom

Sculpting in a Digital Age
February 1, 2018

Pangolin London's third artist in residence Zachary Eastwood-Bloom discusses his bronze work Timaeus / Plato and his use of 3D printing in aiding his working process.

Zachary's first major solo show Divine Principles was the culmination of a year’s work as Pangolin London Sculptor in Residence. His work explores diverse materials including ceramics, glass, bronze, jesmonite, sound and video. His interest lies in the intersection between the physical and the immaterial, the historical and the cutting-edge and often references classical imagery manipulating it with digital aesthetics and leading technologies.
