Crow II is a fine example of the joyful nature found within Breon O’Casey’s sculpture. The dark natural colour of the patina paired within the simplistic forms emphasises the tactile nature of the work and there is a playful manner in which the bird holds its newly found, hand carved, coral bead. O’Casey’s Crows are one of his most popular series of bronze birds with this A/P being the last remaining work available from the edition.
